The association supports its 2,553 members by providing information and services that will assist in the pursuit of business and Community interests.
THE ASSOCIATION SUPPORTS ITS 2,553 MEMBERS BY PROVIDING INFORMATION AND SERVICES THAT WILL ASSIST IN THE PURSUIT OF BUSINESS & COMMUNITY INTERESTS.
EDUCATION AND OTHER PROGRAMS THE ASSOCIATION DEVELOPS AND PROVIDES INSTRUCTION TO ITS 2,553 MEMBERS ON A VARIETY OF SUBJECTS CONCERNING PROFESSIONAL INTERESTS, DEVELOPMENT AND TECHNICAL TRAINING. APPROXIMATELY 2,700 INDIVIDUALS RECEIVED TRAINING DURING THE YEAR ENDED MARCH 31, 2019. THE ASSOCIATION ALSO PROVIDES THE NECESSARY FACILITIES FOR MEMBERS TO HOLD THEIR OWN TRAINING AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES.
MEMBER SERVICES THE ASSOCIATION SPONSORS MONTHLY ROUNDTABLE MEETINGS OF MEMBERS THAT FOCUS ON VARIOUS SUBJECT MATTERS. MEMBERS MEET TO DISCUSS PROBLEMS, EXCHANGE IDEAS, AND SHARE VITAL INFORMATION. THE ASSOCIATION ALSO PRODUCES A MONTHLY MAGAZINE COVERING BUSINESS, ECONOMIC, AND REGULATORY ISSUES. THE ASSOCIATION ALSO OFFERS A FREE HUMAN RESOURCE AND EMPLOYMENT LAW HOTLINE THAT MEMBERS CAn ACCESS 24 HOURS A DAY, AND PROVIDES MONTHLY HR WEBINARS AND NEWSLETTERS. FURTHER, THE ASSOCIATION ANNUALLY BRINGS IN A NATIONALLY KNOWN SPEAKER TO ADDRESS CURRENT BUSINESS TOPICS OF IMPORTANCE TO OUR members.
PUBLIC AND COMMUNITY RELATIONS THE ASSOCIATION SPONSORS ACTIVITIES THAT EDUCATE THE GENERAL PUBLIC AND ITS MEMBERS ON A VARIETY OF BUSINESS AND ECONOMIC ISSUES AFFECTING THE REGION. THE ASSOCIATION ALSO SUPPORTS APPROXIMATELY 12 CHARITABLE AND EDUCATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS IN THE REGION WHOSE COMMON OBJECTIVE IS TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE AND ECONOMIC HEALTH OF THE REGION.
