ITS AGENDA CONCENTRATES ON ASSURING THAT:-ALL CHILDREN ENTER SCHOOL READY TO LEARN. -ALL CHILDREN HAVE ACCESS TO HEALTH CARE THAT ASSURES THEIR HEALTHY DEVELOPMENT. -ALL PARENTS AND OTHERS RAISING CHILDREN RECEIVE SUPPORT NECESSARY TO IMPROVE THE HEALTH, SAFETY, EDUCATION AND ECONOMIC SECURITY OF THE FAMILY.-ALL CHILDREN AND YOUTH ARE RAISED IN LOVING AND KNOWLEDGEABLE FAMILIES FREE FROM ABUSE AND NEGLECT. -ALL CHILDREN RECEIVE A HIGH-QUALITY PUBLIC EDUCATION THAT IS SUPPORTED BY A RATIONAL SCHOOL FUNDING SYSTEM.PPC'S STRATEGIES TO ACCOMPLISH ITS GOALS ARE: -CONDUCT RESEARCH AND DATA ANALYSIS TO DRIVE PUBLIC POLICY.-USE VARIOUS COMMUNICATION STRATEGIES TO INCREASE AWARENESS OF KEY CONSTITUENCIES.-MOBILIZE LEADERS AND ORGANIZATIONS TO SPEAK OUT FOR THE INTERESTS OF CHILDREN.-CONDUCT POLICYMAKER EDUCATION AT THE STATE AND FEDERAL LEVELS.
PROVIDED PUBLIC EDUCATION MATERIALS TO OVER 12,000 PENNSYLVANIANS, THE MEDIA AND POLICYMAKERS ON KEY ASPECTS OF CHILD WELL-BEING: -PRODUCED AND DISTRIBUTED SPECIAL REPORTS ON CRITICAL ISSUES IMPACTING CHILD WELL-BEING INCLUDING: STATE OF CHILD WELFARE 2019, STATE OF CHILDREN'S HEALTH 2019, 2019 STATE OF THE CHILD IN PA, AND A SERIES OF FACT SHEETS, INTERACTIVE MAPS AND SPECIAL REPORTS ON OTHER RELEVANT CHILD POLICY ISSUES.-PRODUCED AND RELEASED A REGULAR POLICY UPDATES ON PROGRESS IN CHILDREN'S POLICYMAKING, DISTRIBUTED VIA EMAIL TO APPROXIMATELY 12,000 PEOPLE AND THEN POSTED ONLINE. -GAVE TWENTY PUBLIC PRESENTATIONS ON KEY CHILDREN'S ISSUES, INCLUDING APPEARANCES IN HIGH-LEVEL VENUES AS LEGISLATIVE AND EXECUTIVE BRANCH MEETINGS AND HEARINGS, AS WELL AS NUMEROUS STATEWIDE AND NATIONAL SEMINARS AND CONFERENCES.-USED SOCIAL MEDIA TOOLS INCLUDING FACEBOOK AND TWITTER TO PROVIDE TIMELY INFORMATION.-SERVED AS A RESOURCE ON CHILDREN'S ISSUES FOR THE MEDIA MORE THAN 150 TIMES.
