Organizations Filed Purposes:
The mission of the agency is to provide a variety of professional human services and supports which strengthen families. The agency specializes in providing services to adults who have intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Human Services Programs: Residential Services for adults with intellectual disabilities. Individuals are served in Residential Habilitation and Life Sharing homes licensed by PA ODP. During 18-19, three individuals received life sharing services. Fifty adults received residential habilitation services. DFS provided 15,681 days of residential, 1,052 days of life sharing, and 47 days of respite services in 18-19.
Human Services: Non-Residential Services to individuals with intellectual disabilities. In-Home & Community Supports and Companion services were provided to forty-nine individuals. They received 19,887 hours of services in 18-19. Vocational services for individuals with intellectual disabilities were also provided. Thirty-five people received 32,665 hours of Community Participation Supports Services. The 38 people that participated in Supported Employment and Small Group Employment received 6,659 hours of service. Thirty-six individuals received transportation services in 18-19, with a total of 7,093 trips provided.
