Organizations Filed Purposes:
The Foundation exists to provide independent funding for innovative educational experiences that enrich the excellent quality education and bring the community together in support of the East Lycoming School District
The Foundation, through donor specified last wills/testaments and other donor agreements, issues annual graduation scholarships to graduating seniors of the East Lycoming School District, Hughesville Jr/Sr High School, Hughesville, PA.
The Foundation sponsors Summer Fun Camps with several different programs to encourage learning activities from culinary to reading to the sciences to physical activities to quad-all-terrain repair. Over 200 students starting at approximately grade 3 typically participate. However, due to COVID, the Foundation was not able to offer in-person Summer Fun Camps in 2020. The Foundation expects to offer Summer Fun Camps as soon COVID restrictions are able to be relaxed.
The Foundation purchased classroom technology for use in the STEM curriculum at the Elementary and High School Levels.
