SERVICES TO HOMELESS FAMILIES
Family Promise of Carbon County is the only provider of Emergency Shelter for children and families experiencing homelessness in Carbon County PA. We are a grass roots solution providing shelter, meals and comprehensive assistance utilizing a collaborative approach that involves volunteers, host sites, community members and resources. In 2019, we served 11 families composed of 34 children and 12 adults. Our average length of stay was 56 days. Volunteers served 7,080 meals valued at $31,450. Church facilities provided 4,032 bed nights valued at $32,256. Volunteers logged 3,744 hours valued at $95,209 Other gift in kind services donations totalled $7,700.
