Organizations Filed Purposes:
The object of the association shall be to rescue and preserve the property and lives of the citizens of Lock Haven, PA from destruction by fire.
As a result of the 2017 OSFC State Fire Grant, Hope Hose Co. #2 has successfully been able to equip our last vehicle as a certified QRS (Medical Response) vehicle as well as update equipment on various vehicles used during the course of fire fighting. Lastly, we were able to add a service known as RIT (Rapid Intervention Team) which is used to rescue a downed fire fighter within a burning building.
Two death benefit payouts were made during 2018. Based on time of service a member has provided at the time of his/her death, the surviving spouse/beneficiary is provided a one time payout. Additional benefits include grave markers, member training, and member recognition.
