Organizations Filed Purposes: ALLEGHENY'S UNDERGRADUATE RESIDENTIAL EDUCATION PREPARES YOUNG ADULTS FOR SUCCESSFUL, MEANINGFUL LIVES BY PROMOTING STUDENTS' INTELLECTUAL, MORAL AND SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT, AND ENCOURAGING PERSONAL AND CIVIC RESPONSIBILITY. ALLEGHENY'S FACULTY AND STAFF COMBINE HIGH ACADEMIC STANDARDS AND A COMMITMENT TO THE EXCHANGE OF KNOWLEDGE WITH A SUPPORTIVE APPROACH TO LEARNING. GRADUATES ARE EQUIPPED TO THINK CRITICALLY AND CREATIVELY, WRITE CLEARLY, SPEAK PERSUASIVELY, AND MEET CHALLENGES IN A DIVERSE INTERCONNECTED WORLD.

INSTRUCTION AND SCHOLARSHIP: PROVIDED LIBERAL ARTS, PRIVATE FOUR YEAR HIGHER EDUCATION TO STUDENTS AND SUPPORTED THAT EFFORT WITH LIBRARY AND MEDIA RESOURCES AND REMEDIAL AND SPECIAL INTEREST CLASSES.ASSISTED STUDENTS TO ATTAIN THEIR DEGREE BY HELPING TO FINANCE THE COST FROM GIFTS, GRANTS, ENDOWMENT INCOME, AND COLLEGE RESOURCES.IN MARCH 2020, DUE TO THE PANDEMIC, THE COLLEGE WENT FROM ON CAMPUS LIVING AND LEARNING TO REMOTE. LEARNING REMOTELY THROUGH THE END OF THE SEMESTER RESULTED IN A 40% REFUND OF AUXILIARY REVENUE ASSOCIATED WITH ROOM AND BOARD FOR THAT PERIOD. PRESIDENT LINK ESTABLISHED THE ALLEGHENY COLLEGE HEALTH AGENCY TO FILL THE GAP IN AVAILABLE CLINICAL AND PUBLIC HEALTH SERVICES. IN ADDITION, SHE ALSO ESTABLISHED 12 OPERATIONAL TEAMS TO PROACTIVELY DEVELOP PROTOCOLS AND POLICIES ON THE IMPACT OF THE PANDEMIC ON COLLEGE OPERATIONS SHOULD THE COLLEGE NEED TO MOVE TO REMOTE OPERATIONS INCLUDING PANDEMIC SAFETY, FACILITIES, COMMUNICATIONS, TECHNOLOGY REQUIREMENTS FOR CLASSROOMS, EVENTS, VISITORS TO CAMPUS AND MORE.

AUXILIARY ENTERPRISES: PROVIDED HOUSING AND DINING SERVICES AND FACILITIES TO STUDENTS AS A RESIDENTIAL INSTITUTION.
