LEADINGAGE PA IS A TRADE ASSOCIATION REPRESENTING MEMBERS CONSISTING PRIMARILY OF NOT-FOR-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS THAT PROVIDE HOUSING, HEALTHCARE, HOME AND COMMUNITY BASED SERVICES, AND RELATED GOODS AND SERVICES TO OLDER ADULTS IN PENNSYLVANIA.
GENERAL MEMBERSHIP SERVICES - AS THE CHIEF ADVOCATE FOR NON-PROFIT PROVIDERS OF LONG-TERM CARE AND SERVICES AND THE ELDERLY INDIVIDUALS THEY SERVE, LEADINGAGE PA REPRESENTS THEIR INTERESTS AND CONCERNS THROUGH ITS COMMUNICATIONS WITH STATE LEGISLATURE AND REGULATORY AGENCIES. THROUGH ITS STAFF'S AND MEMBERS' PARTICIPATION ON ADVISORY PANELS AND GOVERNMENTAL TASK FORCES, ATTENDANCE AT PUBLIC HEARINGS, MONITORING OF LEGISLATION, AND THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE STATE BUDGET, LEADINGAGE PA ENSURES THAT ITS MEMBERSHIP RECEIVES THE ATTENTION AND RESOURCES NECESSARY TO CONTINUE THE DELIVERY OF QUALITY CARE AND SERVICES FOR THE AGING.
EDUCATION AND RELATED PROGRAMMING - LEADINGAGE PA PROVIDES ITS MEMBERS WITH FORMAL AND PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION SERVICES VIA ITS CONFERENCES, WEBINARS, AND MEMBER NETWORKING EVENTS. IT ALSO PROVIDES EDUCATION THROUGH THE PUBLICATION OF WHITE PAPERS, RESEARCH STUDIES, BEST PRACTICE FEATURES, LEGISLATIVE ALERTS AND ANALYSES AND A VARIETY OF LITERATURE. LEADINGAGE PA ALSO SPONSORS LEADERSHIP TRAINING THROUGH ITS FELLOWS-IN-LEADERSHIP PROGRAM.
