HOME HEALTH SERVICES PROVIDED BY MAIN LINE HEALTH HOMECARE AND HOSPICE INCLUDE SKILLED CARE BY A NURSE, A PHYSICAL THERAPIST, OR A SPEECH THERAPIST FOR CLINICAL PROGRAMS INCLUDING CARDIAC, DIABETES, MATERNAL-CHILD, MEDICAL/SURGICAL, ONCOLOGY, AND OSTOMY AND CONTINENCE. STATISTICALLY, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR PRESENTED, MAIN LINE HEALTH HOMECARE AND HOSPICE CONDUCTED 235,335 HOME HEALTH VISITS ON 17,708 HOME CARE ADMISSIONS.
HOSPICE SERVICES MAIN LINE HEALTH HOMECARE AND HOSPICE PROVIDES PALLIATIVE CARE FOR PATIENTS WHOSE ILLNESS (SUCH AS CANCER, ADVANCED HEART, LUNG, OR KIDNEY DISEASE, ALZHEIMER'S DISEASE, OR AIDS) NO LONGER RESPONDS TO MEDICAL TREATMENT. HOSPICE SERVICES INCLUDE COMPREHENSIVE MEDICAL, PSYCHOLOGICAL, AND SPIRITUAL CARE FOR THE TERMINALLY ILL, AND SUPPORT FOR THE PATIENT'S FAMILY. STATISTICALLY SPEAKING, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR PRESENTED, MAIN LINE HEALTH HOMECARE AND HOSPICE PROVIDED HOSPICE SERVICES TO 1,883 PATIENTS.
EXTENDED CARE SERVICES MAIN LINE HEALTH HOMECARE AND HOSPICE PROVIDES PATIENTS WITH PERSONAL CARE IN THE SECURITY OF THEIR OWN HOME. EXTENDED HOME CARE, OR PRIVATE DUTY SERVICES, INCLUDE HOME HEALTH AIDES/COMPANIONS, LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSES, AND REGISTERED NURSES TO PROVIDE ASSISTANCE WITH ACTIVITIES OF DAILY LIVING AND OTHER PRIVATE DUTY SERVICES. STATISTICALLY, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR PRESENTED, MAIN LINE HEALTH HOMECARE AND HOSPICE PROVIDED APPROXIMATELY 523 PATIENTS WITH EXTENDED CARE SERVICES.
