Organizations Filed Purposes: Organization established to ensure a more livable, sustainable, and equitable community in the City of Philadelphia. JASTECH established the Overbrook Environmental Education Center (OEEC) as a community based center dedicated to the preservation of our built and natural environments; improved public health; and the promotion of sustainable and livable communities.

Environmental Sustainability: *Expanded Philly Green Ambassador program to pilot a William Penn Foundation sponsored Green Infrastructure workforce development project with PHL TCB Commercial Corridor operators. *Offered Lead Awareness Philly program to 105 stakeholders to increase awareness of exposure to lead and how to avoid them. *Provided soil testing and education with University of Pennsylvania's Center for Environmental Excellence in Toxicology (CEET) in West Philadelphia zip codes 19131, 19151 and 19139. *Partnered with the Philadelphia Orchard Project (POP) to maintain and preserve strawberries; apple, peach, plum, cherry and fig trees at the Overbrook Center. *Partnered with Penn State Extension to offer Master Watershed training and High Tunnel Water Quality Sampling Project on a Dept. of Agriculture NRCS grant. *Hosted 45 Jefferson University's Landscape Architecture program students at the OEEC to design conceptual plans for the OEEC's Farmacy Project. Performed litter reduction and trash collection services on four West Philadelphia Commercial Corridors for Wynnefield Overbrook Redevelopment Corporation (WORC). *Hosted Philadelphia Career Technical Education Students in the PA Department of Environmental Protection funded Overbrook Youth Environmental Stewards (OYES) program. *Trained High School students on the Philadelphia Water Department's - Green Cities / Clean Waters Work Ready program. *Provided Certification and Training in EPA's Repair, Renovation and painting (RRP) Lead Safety Program. *Utilized a PECO Energizing Energy grant, in partnership with NEED and the United Way of Philadelphia & Southern New Jersey to teach students (grades 5-11) on renewable energy, STEM and conservation practices. *Acquired, cleaned and repurposed a West Philadelphia property to develop an urban farmer's market and training center.

Healthy Living Initiatives: * Initiated the College Underserved / Community Partnership Program (CUPP) with Jefferson University, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Health & Human Services (HHS) to establish the "Farmacy" program for improved nutrition in West Philadelphia. * Partnered with University of Pennsylvania's - Netter Center (AUNI) to host weekly nutrition classes for seniors. * Host weekly healthy living programs in Zumba, Line dancing and Yoga for an average of 30 people per week.

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT: *Held Annual Open House and Environmental Fair. *Provided low-cost facilities to promote our healthy living and sustainability initiatives.
