CHILD WELFARE SERVICES - WORKING IN COOPERATION WITH THE PHILADELPHIA DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH & HUMAN SERVICES, JFCS PROVIDED FOSTER CARE, ADOPTION, TRUANCY PREVENTION, AND FAMILY EMPOWERMENT SERVICES. 691 FAMILIES WERE SERVED IN ALL OF THESE AREAS THROUGH CHILD WELFARE SERVICES AND 40 ADOPTIONS OF FOSTER CHILDREN WERE FINALIZED THROUGH THE STATEWIDE ADOPTION NETWORK.

INDIVIDUAL & FAMILY SERVICES - JFCS PROVIDES A MULTITUDE OF SERVICES TO INDIVIDUALS IN NEED INCLUDING COUNSELING AND CARE MANAGEMENT BY LICENSED SOCIAL WORKERS. OVER 2,700 COUNSELING HOURS WERE PROVIDED INCLUDING 1,500 HOURS OF TELEMENTAL HEALTH COUNSELING. $387,000 IN DIRECT FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE WAS PROVIDED TO CLIENTS IN NEED. 383 VIRTUAL IN-PERSON PROGRAMS WERE PROVIDED TO PEOPLE LIVING WITH DISIBILITIES AND 247 INDIVIDUAL AND GROUP FINANCIAL COACHING SESSIONS WERE PROVIDED. 105 COMMUNITY ART SESSIONS AND 57 ART THERAPY SESSIONS WERE CONDUCTED VIA ZOOM AND 18 VIRTUAL COMMUNITY MENTAL HEALTH PROGRAMS WERE PRESENTED ON FACEBOOK LIVE TOTALING 13,439 VIEWS. THERE WERE 21,950 VIEWS OF MENTAL HEALTH RESOURCE WEBPAGES CREATED TO ADDRESS THE UNIQUE CHALLENGES OF THE PANDEMIC.

OLDER ADULT SERVICES - OUR OLDER ADULT SERVICES PROGRAMS PROVIDE COMMUNITY BASED SERVICES TO OUR AGING POPULATION, AGED 65 AND OVER. $110,000 IN NECESSARY ITEMS WERE PROVIDED INCLUDING 1,651 GROCERY DELIVERIES TO HOMEBOUND CLIENTS, 36 CHROMEBOOK DELIVERIES TO ISOLATED CLIENTS, AND OVER 400 CARE PACKAGES TO HOLOCAUST SURVIVORS. 109,277 HOURS OF IN-HOME NURSING AND HOUSEKEEPING CARE WAS PROVIDED FOR HOLOCAUST SURVIVORS AND VULNERABLE ADULTS. OVER 17,000 CARE MANAGEMENT HOURS WERE PROVIDED (9,000 CONDUCTED VIRTUALLY) FOR HOLOCAUST SURVIVORS AND OTHER VULNERABLE ADULTS. 680 FRIENDLY CALLS FROM VOLUNTEERS HELPED ISOLATED CLIENTS FEEL LESS ALONE. 10,418 ARTICLES OF CLOTHING WERE DISTRIBUTED TO THOSE IN NEED.
