Organizations Filed Purposes: MENTAL HEALTH PARTNERSHIPS IS ONE THE LARGEST MENTAL HEALTH ASSOCIATIONS IN THE UNITED STATES. OPERATING MORE THAN FORTY FIVE SERVICES, WHICH PROVIDE AN ARRAY OF ADVOCACY, DIRECT SUPPORT AND TRAINING, AND EDUCATION SERVICES IN PHILADELPHIA, DELAWARE, MONTGOMERY, CHESTER AND BUCKS COUNTIES AND THE STATE OF DELAWARE AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE STATE-WIDE AND NATIONALLY. MHP IS AT THE FOREFRONT IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF WELLNESS SELF-MANAGEMENT APPROACHES FOR INDIVIDUALS IN RECOVERY FROM MAJOR MENTAL HEALTH CONDITIONS AND SUPPORTS FOR FAMILY MEMBERS.

TO PROMOTE GROUNDBREAKING IDEAS AND CREATE OPPORTUNITIES FOR RESILENCE AND RECOVERY BY APPLYING THE KNOWLEDGE LEARNED FROM THE PEOPLE WE SUPPORT, EMPLOY, AND ENGAGE IN TRANSFORMATIVE PARTNERSHIPS.

RESIDENTIAL TREATMENT/CASE MANAGEMENT SERVICES: TRANSITIONAL HOUSING FOR HOMELESS PEOPLE WITH MENTAL ILLNESS OR CO-OCCURING DISORDERS INCLUDING DRUG ADDICTIONS; PROVIDING INTENSIVE CASE MANAGEMENT SERVICES TO INDIVIDUALS DIAGNOSED WITH SERIOUS MENTAL ILLNESS, INCLUDING LINKING THEM WITH HOUSING, BEHAVIORAL HEALTH AND MEDICAL TREATMENT AND VOCATIONAL SERVICES.

COMMUNITY & MOBILE SERVICES: MOBILE PEER TEAMS: THE CERTIFIED RECOVERY SPECIALIST (CRS) MODEL PROVIDES INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES AN OPPORTUNITY TO EXPERIENCE A NEW PATH TO RECOVERY THAT IS BASED ON NEW IDEAS, INNOVATIVE APPROACHES AND SELF-DIRECTION. THIS EVIDENCED-BASED PRACTICE OPERATES WITHIN THE BEST PRACTICES GUIDELINES OF RECOVERY ORIENTED SYSTEMS OF CARE. THE CRS PROGRAM OFFERS A NEW ENHANCEMENT TO TRADITIONAL CLINICAL TREATMENT MODELS, LEADING TO POSITIVE LIFE CHANGES, ENHANCED WELLNESS AND PRODUCTIVE COMMUNITY INCLUSION. OUTREACH TEAMS: OUR OUTREACH TEAMS ESTABLISH RELATIONSHIPS WITH HOMELESS INDIVIDUALS IN ORDER TO HELP THEM ACCEPT PLACEMENT AND SERVICES TO REBUILD THEIR LIVES. CONSUMER RECOVERY INVESTMENT FUND SELF-DIRECTED CARE: THE RECOVERY COACH TEAM PROVIDES ENHANCED PEER SUPPORT SERVICES TO MOVE PARTICIPANTS FORWARD IN THEIR RECOVERY, ENCOURAGE THE USE OF NATURAL SUPPORTS AND COMMUNITY INTEGRATION, AND ALLOWS INDIVIDUALS TO SELF- DIRECT THEIR CARE. THE PHILOSOPHY OF THE CRIF SDC PROJECT IS BASED ON THREE PRINCIPLES: RECOVERY, PEER SUPPORT & SELF-DIRECTED CARE.

FAMILY & YOUTH SERVICES: PIN PROVIDES INFORMATION, SUPPORT, REFERRALS FOR PARENTS/CAREGIVERS TO HELP THEM BECOME THE BEST ADVOCATE FOR THEIR CHILDREN. PARENT ADVOCATES WHO HAVE BEEN THROUGH THE EXPERIENCE THEMSELVES SUPPORT FAMILIES WHOSE CHILDREN HAVE BEHAVIORAL HEALTH CHALLENGES. PIN ALSO ADVOCATES LOCALLY AND STATEWIDE INFLUENCING POLICY ISSUES AFFECTING CHILDREN AND YOUTH WHO HAVE EMOTIONAL OR BEHAVIORAL HEALTH CHALLENGES. TRAINING & EDUCATION PROGRAM: ORGANIZATIONS AT THE LOCAL, STATE OR FEDERAL LEVEL CAN BENEFIT FROM TEC'S IN-SERVICE TRAINING AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE ON INDIVIDUALIZED TOPICS OR TOPICS RELATED TO BEHAVIORAL HEALTH DISORDERS, FAMILIES OF ADULTS WITH BEHAVIORAL HEALTH DISORDERS AND PSYCHO-EDUCATION FOR TRAUMA. PARENTING COLLABORATIVE: 12-SESSION CURRICULUM BASED PARENTING EDUCATION SERIES FOR PARENTS WITH MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES. TOPICS INCLUDE SETTING LIMITS, PARENTING STYLES, THE AGES AND STAGES OF DEVELOPMENT AND MANAGING ANGER. PARENTING COLLAB IS OPEN TO BOTH PARENTS AND CAREGIVERS. FAMILY MENTOR: FAMILY AND YOUTH MENTORS PROVIDE IN-PERSON SUPPORT, INCLUDING ATTENDING TREATMENT, EDUCATION, INTER-AGENCY, DISCHARGE, APPEAL AND OTHER TEAM MEETINGS TO ASSIST FAMILIES IN ADVOCATING FOR THEIR CHILD'S AND THEIR FAMILY'S NEEDS, AND ALSO REPRESENTS THE FAMILY VOICE IN STATE, COUNTY, COMMUNITY AND PROVIDER ADVISORY AND POLICY GROUPS. THE FEST PROGRAM ASKS PARENTS, CAREGIVERS AND YOUTH ABOUT THEIR EXPERIENCE WITH BEHAVIORAL HEALTH AND OTHER CHILD-SERVING SYSTEMS SO THAT SERVICES AND SUPPORTS ARE MORE FAMILY- AND YOUTH-DRIVEN.
