PROGRAM INITIATIVES - MICROSOCIETY PILOTED A NEW SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING, AND MATH PROGRAM FOR TWO MIDDLE SCHOOLS IN WEST VIRGINIA. WHILE EDUCATORS AND SCIENTISTS AGREE ON THE IMPORTANCE OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF NEW SCIENCE STANDARDS, MANY CURRICULUM OFFERINGS FALL SHORT OF MEETING THE REQUIREMENTS SET FORTH BY THE NGSS THREE DIMENSIONAL LEARNING FRAMEWORK.
