EMERGENCY SERVICES/BASIC NEEDS - PROVIDES HOUSING CRISIS COUNSELING, EMERGENCY HOUSING, FOOD, CLOTHING AND OTHER BASIC NEEDS FOR FAMILIES EXPERIENCING HOMELESSNESS. IN 2019 PIHN HOSTED 13 FAMILIES IN CONGREGATIONAL SHELTER (49 INDIVIDUALS - 33 CHILDREN + 16 ADULTS), AND PROVIDE DIRECT AID FOR BASIC NEEDS (6,570 BED NIGHTS; 13,140 NUTRITIOUS DINNERS/HEALTHY BREAKFASTS/AFTER-SCHOOL SNACKS).

CHILDREN AND YOUTH - PROVIDES TRAUMA-INFORMED COUNSELING, PARENTING EDUCATION, FAMILY THERAPY, ART THERAPY, AFTER-SCHOOL AND SUMMER JOBS, CAMP, RECREATION AND LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES, AND MATERIAL SUPPORTS. IN 2019, 23 CHILDREN RECEIVED WEEKLY ART THERAPY; AND 25 CHILDREN/YOUTH RECEIVED SUMMER CAMP AND ACTIVITY FEE SUPPORT; 192 RECEIVED UNIFORMS, BACKPACKS AND SCHOOL SUPPLIES.

HOMELESS PREVENTION - PROVIDES HOUSING CRISIS COUNSELING, FINANCIAL SUPPORTS TO AVERT EVICTION (BACK RENT/UTILS, TEMPORARY SHALLOW RENT SUBSIDIES) OR RELOCATE RAPIDLY (SECURITY DEPOSITS) AND NON-FINANCIAL SERVICES AND SUPPORTS TO ACHIEVE HOUSING STABILITY AND SELF-SUFFICIENCY IN SAFE AFFORDABLE HOUSING (LANDLORD PARTNERSHIPS, PLACEMENT ASSISTANCE, THERAPEUTIC SERVICES, FINANCIAL LITERACY/COACHING, EDUCATIONAL/VOCATIONAL COUNSELING). IN 2019 PIHN, PROVIDED $137,000 IN SERVICES AND MATERIAL SUPPORTS TO 661 FAMILIES (2,161 INDIVIDUALS 1,378 CHILDREN +783 ADULTS) FORMERLY IN SHELTER, OR LIVING IN THE COMMUNITY AND HIGHLY AT-RISK OF EVICTION. IN 2019 PIHN ALSO PROVIDED 100 FAMILIES (339 INDIVIDUALS TOTAL - 132 ADULTS + 207 CHILDREN) WITH HOMELESSNESS PREVENTION ASSISTANCE: $197,773 IN FINANCIAL AID AND CASE MANAGEMENT SERVICES FOR 55 FAMILIES TO AVERT EVICTION, AND 29 FAMILIES TO RELOCATE TO SAFE AFFORDABLE HOUSING.
