East Coast Derby Extravaganza ECDX. The ECDX is an annual event that enables Philly Roller Derby to carry out its exempt purposes. This large-scale flat track roller derby event features a weekend full of competition by teams from across the US, Canada and internationally.
Philly Roller Derby is a roller derby league comprised of members who participate in roller derby training and competition and/or support the operations and governance of the league. Skating members compete in intramural and extramural competition. The extramural teams, The Liberty Belles, Block Party AND THE CITY WIDE SPECIALS, travel nationally and internationally to compete.
Philly Roller Derby has created a Junior Roller Derby program in order to allow children and young adults, ages 6-18, the opportunity to learn the sport of roller derby and engage in roller derby competition. Our mission is to provide a fun, safe and supportive environment for young athletes, where they can come together and play this highly exciting sport of speed, strategy and teamwork. Junior Roller Derby helps empower our skaters by building self-confidence, teaching leadership skills and developing athletic abilities while improving overall fitness
