OUR REMAINING MEMBERS SERVE THE COMMUNITY THROUGH CULTURAL INITIATIVES, ART, AND ADVOCACY. IN TOTAL, BY HELPING THE NON-PROFITS WHO PROVIDE THEM SERVICES, TECH IMPACT'S SERVICES HAVE AN IMPACT ON HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF INDIVIDUALS IN OUR COMMUNITY EACH YEAR. OVER 300 ORGANIZATIONS RELY ON TECH IMPACT FOR REGULAR TECHNOLOGY MAINTENANCE. THESE SERVICES DEMONSTRATE AN ORGANIZATION'S COMMITMENT TO BEING STABLE AND SECURE AND PROVIDE THE REGULAR MAINTENANCE THEY NEED TO REMAIN IN BUSINESS. OVER 300 INDIVIDUALS RECEIVED 2,500 HOURS OF TRAINING ON PRODUCTIVITY SOFTWARE.
ITWORKS PROGRAM OFFERS A FREE, IMMERSIVE IT TRAINING PROGRAM TO VULNERABLE YOUNG ADULTS (HIGH ACHIEVING HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATES, 18-24, WHO HAVE NOT MOVED ON TO COLLEGE). STUDENTS RECEIVE A PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATION IN IT AND A REAL-WORLD INTERNSHIP INSIDE LEADING CORPORATIONS AND NON-PROFITS. THE GOAL IS TO HAVE GRADUATES GAIN A MARKETABLE SKILL SET, IMPROVED CONFIDENCE, LEADERSHIP ABILITIES, AND A BROAD UNDERSTANDING OF THE NON-PROFIT COMMUNITY AND ITS INTERACTIONS. THEIR SALARIES ARE INCREASED BY 100% ON AVERAGE, AND THEY BEGIN ON THE PATH TO A PROMISING CAREER. TECH IMPACT ALSO OFFERS A SECOND PROGRAM FOR VULNERABLE YOUNG ADULTS NAMED CXWORKS, WHICH TEACHES CUSTOMER SERVICE AND CALL CENTER SKILLS, PREPARING THE STUDENTS FOR ENTRY LEVEL CAREERS IN CUSTOMER SERVICE AND CALL CENTER POSITIONS AT SUSTAINABLE WAGES.
PUNCHCODE OFFERS AN IMMERSIVE CODING BOOTCAMP TEACHING SKILLS IN APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT THAT WILL ALLOW STUDENTS TO PURSUE CAREERS IN THE GROWING IT SECTOR IN LAS VEGAS.
