MAINSTAGE PRODUCTION COSTS - DURING THE 2019-2020 SEASON, WALNUT STREET THEATRE'S MAINSTAGE PRODUCTIONS WELCOMED 146,140 ATTENDEES, INCLUDING 31,353 SUBSCRIBERS. IN ADDITION TO THE FIVE MAINSTAGE PRODUCTIONS, THE THEATRE'S CHILDREN'S SERIES HAD 25,988 ATTENDEES, INCLUDING 2,273 SUBSCRIBERS. ALL SCHEDULED PERFORMANCES FROM MARCH 15 - JUNE 30 WERE CANCELLED DUE TO THE PANDEMIC.
THEATRE SCHOOL - DURING THE 2019-2020 SEASON, 1,589 STUDENTS WERE ENROLLED IN THE THEATRE'S COMPREHENSIVE SCHOOL PROGRAM. THE EDUCATION DEPARTMENT ALSO REACHED AN ADDITIONAL 106,473 STUDENTS THROUGH OUTREACH ACTIVITIES. ALL IN PERSON PROGRAMS WERE SUSPENDED FROM MARCH 15 - JUNE 30 DUE TO THE PANDEMIC. A LIMITED NUMBER OF NEW VIRTUAL INITIATIVES WERE ADDED.
STUDIO PRODUCTION COSTS - DURING THE 2019-2020 SEASON, THE THEATRE'S INDEPENDENCE STUDIO ON 3 WELCOMED 12,476 ATTENDEES, INCLUDING 2,181 SUBSCRIBERS IN A FLEXIBLE BLACK BOX SPACE IN SUPPORT OF ALTERNATIVE THEATRE. ALL SCHEDULED PERFORMANCES FROM MARCH 15 - JUNE 30 WERE CANCELLED DUE TO THE PANDEMIC.
