EMPLOYMENT COACHING - 52 INDIVIDUALS WERE SERVED IN GAINING FIRST-TIME WORK EXPERIENCES INCLUDING JOB SHADOWING AND PAID TEMPORARY WORK, FINDING LONGTIME WORK, AND MAINTAINING EMPLOYMENT. COACHES SUPPORTED INDIVIDUALS WITH IDENTIFYING AREAS OF INTEREST FOR WORK, CREATING RESUMES, PRACTICAL SUPPORT WITH SOFT SKILLS FOR THE WORK ENVIRONMENT, AND SELF- ADVOCACY IN THE WORKPLACE INCLUDING WHEN/HOW/IF TO DISCLOSE A DISABILITY.

ARTS PROGRAMMING - DELIVERS AN INCLUSIVE EXPERIENCE FOR 60-65 ADOLESCENTS AND YOUNG ADULTS WITH DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES EACH YEAR. WORKING IN TEAMS, CAMPERS LEARN HOW TO PRODUCE A FILM FROM START TO FINISH, GIVING THEM A CHANCE TO PRACTICE REAL-WORLD SKILLS SUCH AS TEAMWORK, EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION, SELF-ADVOCACY, CRITICAL THINKING, AND ORGANIZATION. IN ADDITION TO SOFT SKILL DEVELOPMENT, CAMPERS ARE EXPOSED TO VARIOUS CAREER PATHS IN THE FILM INDUSTRY, INCLUDING ACTING, SET DESIGN, PRODUCTION, AND EDITING. THE SKILL THAT CAMPERS LEARN ARE TRANSFERABLE TO ANY SCHOOL OR WORK ENVIRONMENT.
