Organizations Filed Purposes:
Pittsburgh Uniteds coalition work and progressive issue campaigns have built stronger communities and more power for working class people in Pittsburgh and throughout Western Pennsylvania. Together, we fought water privatization, we worked to preserve and expand affordable housing options in our communities, we pushed corporations to take the high road and create good jobs and honor their workers right to organize, and we struggled with developers to invest in the things our community needs most. Despite the challenges of COVID-19, we have devoted our work to creating a sustainable movement of poor and working class people and partner organizations by working together to address the most pressing issues facing our community and lifting up and valuing people over profit. This year, and every year, Pittsburgh United works to advance the vision of a community and economy that work for all people.
