IS AN AFFILIATE OF MOUNT NITTANY HEALTH SYSTEM (HEALTH SYSTEM) WHICH INCLUDES AN ACUTE CARE HOSPITAL WITH 260 BEDS (MOUNT NITTANY MEDICAL CENTER), MOUNT NITTANY MEDICAL CENTER HEALTH SERVICES, INC., MOUNT NITTANY PHYSICIAN GROUP, CENTRE COUNTY CHILDREN'S ADVOCACY CENTER, AND THE FOUNDATION FOR MOUNT NITTANY MEDICAL CENTER, INC. THE MISSION IS DEDICATED TO IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR PEOPLE OF OUR REGION BY SUPPORTING THE ADVANCEMENT OF HEALTHCARE AT MOUNT NITTANY HEALTH.CONTINUED ON "SCHEDULE O".MOUNT NITTANY HEALTH FOUNDATION WELCOMED SIMON CORBY AS THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR IN SEPTEMBER 2019. ADDITIONALLY, TWO NEW POSITIONS WERE ADDED TO THE FOUNDATION STAFF; PROSPECT RESEARCH AND STEWARDSHIP OFFICER AND A DEVELOPMENT OFFICER INCREASING THE STAFF FROM FOUR TO SIX TEAM MEMBERS.THE FOUNDATION SUPPORTS FUNDRAISING AND OTHER ACTIVITIES TO FURTHER THE CHARITABLE, EDUCATIONAL, AND SCIENTIFIC PURPOSES OF MOUNT NITTANY MEDICAL CENTER ("MNMC"). ACTIVITIES WITHIN FISCAL YEAR 2020 INCLUDED THE FOLLOWING:MOUNT NITTANY HEALTH FOUNDATION RAISED $4,834,228 IN CASH GIFTS FOR VARIOUS PROGRAMS AND SERVICES AND A $30,000 IN PLEDGE COMMITMENTS FOR THE PHARMACY AT MOUNT NITTANY MEDICAL CENTER.THE 2019 GOLF CLASSIC RAISED $27,676 TO SUPPORT THE CARDIOVASCULAR PAVILION PROJECT AT MOUNT NITTANY MEDICAL CENTER WHICH OPENED AUGUST 2019. THE GOLF CLASSIC COMMITTEE HAS COMMITTED $1 MILLION (DRIVING FOR $1 MILLION) TOWARDS THIS PROJECT AND WILL COMPLETE THEIR COMMITMENT IN 2021.THE 2020 CHARITY BALL RAISED $277,447 TO SUPPORT A SIGNIFICANT RENOVATION TO THE WOMEN AND CHILDREN'S DEPARTMENT AT MOUNT NITTANY MEDICAL CENTER. CARDIOVASCULAR PAVILION FUNDRAISING INITIATIVE - MOUNT NITTANY HEALTH FOUNDATION COLLECTED $473,987 IN PLEDGE PAYMENTS AND CASH GIFTS FOR THE NEW CARDIOVASCULAR PAVILION AT MOUNT NITTANY MEDICAL CENTER IN FY 2019/2020. GRANTS - RECEIVED $150,000 GRANT FROM KAY YOW CANCER FUND TO SUPPORT CANCER NAVIGATION. RECEIVED $2.5M FROM HIGHMARK, INC. TO SUPPORT HIGHMARK HEALTH REINVESTMENT PROGRAM.PLANNED GIVING PROGRAM - TWO GIFT ANNUITIES TOTALING $40,000 WAS RAISED IN SUPPORT OF THE WOMEN AND CHILDREN'S RENOVATION PROJECT. THE FOUNDATION SIGNED ON WITH CRESCENDO, INC. TO ASSIST IN MARKETING THE PLANNED GIVING PROGRAM.ANNUAL GIVING (END OF YEAR APPEAL, DOCTOR'S DAY AND ANNUAL REPORT) RAISED $184,102 FOR VARIOUS PROGRAMS AND SERVICES AT MOUNT NITTANY MEDICAL CENTER.GRATEFUL PATIENT PROGRAM RAISED $35,050 FOR MOUNT NITTANY HEALTH'S GREATEST NEED.MEMORIAL GIFTS, HONORARY GIFTS AND UNSOLICITED GIFTS TOTALED $205,915 FOR PROGRAMS AND SERVICES AT MOUNT NITTANY HEALTH.EMPLOYEE GIVING CAMPAIGN RAISED $735,859 FOR PROGRAMS AND SERVICES AT MOUNT NITTANY HEALTH.OUTSIDE EVENTS RAISED $12,817 FOR THE BREAST CARE CENTER, CANCER PROGRAM, CHILDREN'S ADVOCACY CENTER, AND THE EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE FUND AT MOUNT NITTANY MEDICAL CENTER.THE CAMPAIGN FOR EMERGENCY MEDICINE - MOUNT NITTANY HEALTH FOUNDATION RAISED FUNDS FOR THE EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT EXPANSION. FOR THE FYE 2019/2020, EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT EXPANSION PAYMENTS AMOUNTED TO $5,000.THE COMMITMENT TO DISTINCTION CAMPAIGN: THE CAMPAIGN FOR MOUNT NITTANY MEDICAL CENTER WHICH RAISED FUNDS FOR MEDICAL CENTER PROJECTS SUCH AS THE SINGLE PATIENT ROOM TOWER (EAST WING ADDITION) AND SHANER CANCER PAVILION. FOR THE FYE 2018/2019 DISTINCTION PAYMENTS AMOUNTED TO $2,000.HOSTED A NATIONAL PHILANTHROPY PIE AND COFFEE STEWARDSHIP EVENT FOR DONORS.
