SWAN MANAGES REFERRALS FROM COUNTY CHILDREN AND YOUTH AGENCIES, CONTRACTS WITH PRIVATE AGENCIES THAT WORK WITH COUNTIES TO PROVIDE DIRECT SERVICES TO CHILDREN AND FAMILIES, PROVIDES CONSULTATION AND TRAINING FOR COUNTY AGENCIES AND PRIVATE PROVIDERS, DEVELOPS CONFERENCES AND REGIONAL MEETINGS, AND MANAGES SUPPORT SERVICES TO ENHANCE THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE CHILD-PLACEMENT NETWORK.
