HOPE ENTERPRISES, INC. WAS DEVELOPED IN 1952 TO ENHANCE THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR PEOPLE WITH INTELLECTUAL DISABILITIES. WITH COMPREHENSIVE SERVICES THROUGH SEVEN COUNTIES IN CENTRAL PENNSYLVANIA, OUR VISION IS TO PROVIDE AN INDIVIDUALIZED APPROACH THAT ALLOWS EACH PERSON THE OPPORTUNITY TO LIVE AN EVERYDAY LIFE.HOPE IS COMMITTED TO PROVIDING SERVICES THAT SUPPORT THOSE WITH DISABILITIES TO LIVE A LIFE, NO DIFFERENT THAN ANY OTHER CITIZEN. OUR ROLE IS TO SUPPORT OPPORTUNITIES THAT GIVE PEOPLE THE RELATIONSHIPS, RIGHTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES TO BE A MEMBER OF THEIR OWN COMMUNITY. CONTINUED ON SCHEDULE O.HOPE'S RESIDENTIAL HOMES AND LIFESHARING OPPORTUNITIES PROVIDE A SAFE-HAVEN FOR ADULTS WITH DISABILITIES TO ACHIEVE THE INDEPENDENCE AND EXPERIENCES THEY WISH. THESE ARE PERSONAL HOMES, AND WE STRIVE TO RESPECT PEOPLE'S RIGHTS AND PRIVACY FOR PERSONAL GROWTH. OUR COMMUNITY HOMES CURRENTLY SERVE 120 ADULTS THROUGHOUT SEVEN COUNTIES IN CENTRAL PENNSYLVANIA.TRANSPORTATION SERVICES ARE OFFERED TO TRANSPORT INDIVIDUALS FROM THEIR RESIDENCE TO TRAINING, WORK, AND OTHER SERVICES PROVIDED BY HOPE.

HOPE ENTERPRISES' HAS RECENTLY MERGED ITS COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION (CPS), SUPPORTED EMPLOYMENT, IN-HOME SERVICES, AND SUPPORT LIVING TO SERVE FAMILIES AND INDIVIDUALS WITH IDD UNDER ONE SERVICE MODEL. THIS WILL ALLOW A MORE INDIVIDUALIZED APPROACH TO SUPPORTING AN EVERY-DAY LIFE FOR THOSE WE SERVE. SERVICES CONTINUE TO EMPHASIZE COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION, VOLUNTEERING, AND EMPLOYMENT THROUGH THE EIGHT COUNTIES HOPE IS CURRENTLY PROVIDING SERVICE IN.CONTINUED ON SCHEDULE O.HOPE'S CHILDREN'S CAMPUS IS HOME TO THE SPECIAL SUPPLEMENTAL NUTRITION PROGRAM FOR WOMEN, INFANTS AND CHILDREN, KNOWN AS WIC, IN LYCOMING COUNTY. THE CHILDREN'S CAMPUS HOSTS THE ALLONE AUTISM COLLABORATIVE CENTERS OF EXCELLENCE (ACCE), STEP INC.'S EARLY HEAD START PROGRAM, AND THE UPMC PEDIATRIC REHABILITATION CLINIC. HOPE ALSO OVERSEES THE WIC PROGRAM IN CLINTON COUNTY, WHICH SERVES OVER 700 CLIENTS IN A GIVEN MONTH AND HAS INCREASED TELEHEALTH EFFORTS FOR THE CONTINUUM OF CARE DURING THE PANDEMIC. HOPE'S MAXWORX CONTINUED TO EXPAND IN BOTH MANUFACTURING AND CUSTODIAL SERVICES THROUGHOUT CENTRAL PENNSYLVANIA. NAMED AFTER HOPE'S FOUNDER DR. MAX MILLER, MAXWORX REMAINS COMMITTED TO 75% OF ITS EMPLOYEES HAVING A DOCUMENTED DISABILITY.
