Organizations Filed Purposes: The Organization provides housing and a program of mentoring and guidance for young women in crisis pregnancy situations.

Morning Star Ministries of the North Penn Area, Inc.("MSM")continues to achieve its exempt purpose through assisting young women with housing,mentoring and guidance,life skills, and nutrition during the very difficult time of unplanned pregnancy. We assisted in the area of interpersonal relationships, parenting,and goal setting. Many of the women have reconciled with their parents and the babies' father. Others made decisions about finding new housing, and providing a means of support for themselves and their child. In 2019 we assisted 8 young women deliver their healthy babies and learn the skills required to succeed in their new lives as parents. Two girls completed culinary programs and started new careers at a local NFP providing food for the needy. Others found local jobs and reconciled with their parents and/or the child's father. In both the current and prior years the ministry assisted 8 young women through the MSM program. The average time that women spent in the MSM program was approximately 5.88 and 6.25 months during 2019 and 2018, respectively. Over the past three years MSM assisted,on average, 9 young women for an average stay of 5.2 months. Both the 2-Yr and 3-Yr average stays increased over prior year's averages.
