KEYSTONE FIRST KF-In 2019 PPF received 821 referrals for doula and lactation services.492 members opted-out from the service due to having a sufficient support system. 392 members were captured and were provided antepartum care, assistance with their prenatal, WIC, dental and behavioral health appointments, one-on-one, non-judgmental, in-home practical support, childbirth education, parenting skills, meal preparation and household organization.
TUFTS HEALTH PLAN, THP - In 2019 PPF received 132 referrals of THP members, 16 of 132 members opted-out from the doula services. 116 THP members were captured and were provided one-on-one, non-judgmental, in-home practical support, such as childbirth education, parenting skills, meal preparation and household organization PPF also assisted these members with their prenatal, WIC, Dental and Behavioral Health appointments..
THE FOUNDATION OF DELAWARE COUNTY. In November 2018 PPF was awarded 50,000 Grant Award from The Foundation of Delaware County where 25,000 was disbursed in 2018. This award was used to further enhance its PAL FOR PARENTS PROGRAM PFPP to allow for the addition of more classes, better advertising, utilities, internet and telephone bills and the recruitment of staff to oversee the entire process. In January 2019, PFPP continued to offer free monthly evidence based classes, operating through the remaining 25,000 grant received from The Foundation of Delaware County. These classes focused on the overall well being of mothers and their families, both mentally and physically. With encouraging environment PPF fulfilled its goals of offering preventive healthcare education, alleviating stress for parents, and enhancing the wellness of its operations counties.
