Organizations Filed Purposes:
The general purpose and plan of operation of this Association shall be to create, secure and establish a fund from donations, assessments, or other legitimate sources for the support and relief of sick, injured, or disabled firefighters of this Association in such a manner as may be provided for in this constitution and bylaws of this Association or the laws of the State of Minnesota. Also, for the regulation and disbursement of pension and retirement moneys.
Provide pension and ancilliary benefits to volunteer firefighters and their families.
To administer public funds which provide retirement, disability, and survivor for members and their families per Minnesota State Statutes. There were 44 active firefighters in 2019. There were 43 retired, 2 disabled and 10 survivor recipients receiving benefits in 2019. In addition there were 5 individuals that were entitled inactive members not receiving benefits.
