Heart to Heart Program - Ministry programming providing a wide variety of family and individual services and supplies. Included in this program: *Our monthly fee community meal, which consistently serves a fresh, volunteer-prepared meal to 100 plus people each month*New Directions Low-income residential housing. We were also able to provide short-term emergency housing for families and individuals in crisis situations. Residents have gained increased financial responsibility and stability, independent living skills and experience, recovery from addiction issues (We do not offer addiction programing, only a safe, clean rental environment from which residents may seek recovery through other available programs and support). We housed formerly homeless individuals and couples, and those who would otherwise be unable to live independently. *Life Center: A room of resources for parenting, education, marriage, crisis situations, relationship skills, and general life skills. We provided computer and internet access for families to use as well as printed resources available for the families to take. We also provide baby baskets for moms on the arrival of their newborns.*Special Community events to build relationships among and between generations, encourage and support local artists and businesses and provide family friendly, positive recreational opportunities for our area. *Thrift Store: Volunteer-based recource for the community to donate used and new items for sale by Old School Lives. Also, when families are displaced from their home (ex. house fire), we are able to provide items at no cost to meet the needs we can.

Lifelong Learning and Arts Program - Our program provided tutoring and learning help for local youth, internet and computer access to students completing high school and post-secondary education, as well as, recreational and art eduction opportunities for local homeschool and public school students. Local youth were able to work with sculpture artist-in-residence, Lanny Johnson, and were exposed to many other crafts throughout the year. The Art Exchange consignment gift shop also continued as an outlet for over 90 local artists and craftsmen to show and sell their pieces, while providing an opportunity for individuals to learn job skills training. We provided musical practice and recording space to local bands, and hosted art demonstrations and musical performances at our community events. Local photographers were able to provide free holiday photo opportunities this winter. Two new studios were opened for pottery and weaving/textiles.
