ATTENDANCE WAS 1,031 PARTICIPANTS.- PROVIDED 53 ADULT PROGRAMS THROUGHOUT THE SCHOOL YEAR IN COLLABORATION WITH THE IZAAK WALTON LEAGUE, TROUT UNLIMITED, HAWK RIDGE, THE WILD ONES NATIVE PLANT GROUP, DULUTH FOLK SCHOOL, SOLAR INSTALLATION WORKSHOP.- PROVIDED 17 ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION INTERNSHIPS OF UP TO 1,000 HOURS EACH. - PROVIDED VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES INCLUDING: EDUCATION, STEWARDSHIP AND EVENT ASSISTANTS. VOLUNTEER LIST CONSISTS OF OVER 249 INDIVIDUALS.- HELD CANDLELIGHT SKI, SKATE AND SNOWSHOE EVENT FOR 275 PARTICIPANTS.- PROVIDED 806 MAN-HOURS IN THE WAY OF VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES INVOLVED IN THE STEWARDSHIP OF HARTLEY PARK, INCLUDING BUCKTHORN PULLS AND FROG POPULATION MONITORING PROJECTS.- PROVIDED 1,385 CAMPING EXPERIENCES FOR KIDS AT THREE SEPARATE CAMP OPPORTUNITIES.SCHOOL PROGRAMS (PRE-K THRU GRADE 12):- PROVIDED 83 STUDENT FIELD TRIP EXPERIENCES FREE OF CHARGE VIA OUR SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIP FUND. THE FUNDS WERE AGAIN ACCESSIBLE TO THOSE SCHOOLS WITH OVER 55% OF THEIR STUDENTS ON FREE AND REDUCED LUNCH.- PROVIDED $10,541 WORTH OF FREE TRANSPORTATION FOR AREA SCHOOLS ATTENDING FIELD TRIPS.- PROVIDED 36,558 CONTACT HOURS TO 92 CHILDREN VIA OUR HARTLEY NATURE PRESCHOOL DURING THE COURSE OF THE NORMAL SCHOOL YEAR. - 10,146 TOTAL PARTICIPANTS IN ALL PROGRAMS FOR EARLY CHILDHOOD AND SCHOOL-AGED GROUPS; TOTAL OF 69,193 CONTACT HOURS.- SERVED GROUPS FROM SEVERAL AREA COMMUNITIES.- PROVIDED 3,649 FIELD TRIP OPPORTUNITIES.- SERVED 1,740 STUDENTS VIA SCHOOL SITE VISITS.
