The Mission of Lincoln Park Children and Families Collaborative is to support children and families by connecting them to resources and opportunities, embracing our cultures, and building community and well-being through strong and equitable leadership.
Supervised Visitation: in 2019, we started a new program called Supervised Visitation and hosted 934 supervised visits with 61 families and 101 children. Our Supervised Visitation program allows children to have safe, conflict-free access to parents and caregivers. LPCFC offers In-home and on-site parent coaching, group and monitored visits, observation, safe exchange, and transportation services.
LPCFC Childcare: In 2019, we opened our newly licensed, family daycare program called LPCFC ChildCare and served 43 children with drop-in, part-time, and full-time care. LPCFC serves infants, toddlers, pre-school, and school aged children year round. Our hours are Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM and we offer drop in care, part-time care, and full-time care.
Circle of Security: In 2019, we hosted 4 Circle of Security classes at our space, serving 41 adults and 18 children. We also hosted 2 classes off-site, serving 18 adults. Circles of Security classes are designed to intervene early in the mental health of children and to prevent stress between caregivers and children by increasing their attachment, connection, and communication.
