Organizations Filed Purposes:
The Morton Cure Paralysis Fund MCPF is a nonprofit organization committed to finding a cure for paralysis caused by spinal cord injury and other disorders of the central nervous system. MCPF is also a community of people that provides information and emotional support to those affected by paralysis.
Presented research grants to nine world-class SCI research laboratories. These grants were for research projects in the global effort to find a cure for paralysis. Grants were allocated based on expert peer review of all grant applications received. Projects were chosen for the potential to solve obstacles directly in the path to a cure and their potential to use the data from the project to secure much larger funding from other sources.
