FY2019 CHILDREN'S HEARTLINK INTERNATIONAL PROGRAMS ACCOMPLISHMENTSKEY PROGRAM ELEMENTS:-LEADERSHIP AND INNOVATION: LEADING CHANGE INITIATES TO STANDARDIZE PROGRAMS ACTIVITIES FOR SCALING IN 3 AREAS: PROGRAMS DATABASE, QUALITY IMPROVEMENT, AND LOGISTICS.-STRATEGIC ANALYTICS: IDENTIFIED THAT WHEN CHL ACHIEVES OUR STRATEGIC PLAN GOALS OF 50 CENTERS OF EXCELLENCE BY 2030, WE WILL REACH 49% OF ALL CHILDREN WITH CONGENITAL HEART DEFECTS IN PROGRAM CATCHMENT AREAS, AS COMPARED TO ONLY 24% IF WE MAINTAINED OUR CURRENT SITES TODAY.-ACCOUNTABILITY, EVALUATION AND LEARNING: STRENGTHENED GRANTS MANAGEMENT SYSTEM. DEVELOPING INFRASTRUCTURE FOR COMPREHENSIVE PROCESS AND OUTCOME EVALUATION.
OUTREACH AND EDUCATION-WE EXPANDED OUR EFFORTS TO RE-ENGAGE OUR PARTNERS AND SUPPORTERS AND ENGAGE NEW PARTNERS AND SUPPORTERS. IN RECOGNITION OF OUR 50 YEARS AS AN ORGANIZATION, WE LAUNCHED A 50 YEARS BLOG, A 50 YEARS WEB PAGE, AND PRINT MATERIALS. WE SUPPORTED RECOGNITION EVENTS AT OUR PARTNER MEDICAL VOLUNTEER INSTITUTIONS AND PRODUCED A FILM FEATURING OUR WORK IN INDIA, SHOT ON LOCATION AND TITLED "HARI'S HEART PRINT." TO IMPROVE AUDIENCE EXPERIENCE AND INSPIRE MORE SUPPORT, WE MOVED TO NEW DIGITAL PLATFORMS FOR COMMUNICATION WITH OUR AUDIENCES AND LAUNCHED PEER-TO-PEER AND CROWDFUNDING PLATFORMS. WE ATTENDED A DIGITAL COMMUNICATIONS CONFERENCE IN BOSTON AND APPLIED FOR A GOOGLE AD GRANT FOR NONPROFITS THAT, WHEN LAUNCHED, WILL GENERATE HIGH-QUALITY AND CONSISTENT WEBSITE TRAFFIC FOR YEARS TO COME.
