Organizations Filed Purposes:
Through alpine ski racing, we develop and inspire a community of young athletes who strive for excellence, compete with integrity, and pursue a lifelong love of skiing.
Team Gilboa continues its 30+ year tradition of inspiring and developing extraordinary alpine ski racers through comprehensive programming. For our 425+ athletes ages 6 to 19, we host United States Ski Association (USSA) and related programs that inspire, challenge, and develop each and every racer to reach exceptional levels. Led by experienced, professional, full-time coaches, we guide racers through progressions that teach skill development matched with speed acquisition. Team Gilboa's core values drive our daily programing, our staff decision making, and give our athletes purpose while training. Each day Team Gilboa athletes try to live the core values of PASSION FOR SKIING, CONSTANT IMPROVEMENT, and STRONG COMMUNITY. We are proud to be certified by the U.S. Ski and Snowboard as a gold level club. As of the 2019/20 season we are one of only 22 gold certified clubs in the nation. We are proud to be a one-of-a-kind, non-profit ski club based out of Hyland Hills.
In an effort to support Team Gilboa's core values (PASSION FOR SKIING, CONSTANT IMPROVEMENT, and STRONG COMMUNITY) the club has a robust offering of races and training camps. These camps are often where athletes achieve breakthroughs in their skiing career, guided by Team Gilboa's professional staff. Not only are these training camps critical for athletic performance, but they also provide excellent opportunities for these young people to grow and learn valuable life skills such as time management, the importance of teamwork, what it means to be part of a community, how to set and monitor progress towards goals, and how to work hard.
