Organizations Filed Purposes: Greentone Public Art is a non-profit arts organization in Ely, Minnesota, whose goal is the enhancement of life through art. classes, art exhibits, and beautification of public areas with murals and sculptures. Greenstone newest project is creating and managing the Ely Art Heritage Center in the Pioneer Mine buildings, the first underground mine in Ely area.

Greentone Public Art is a non-profit arts heritage organization in Ely, Minnesota, whose mission is the enhancement of life through both art classes exhibits and preservation of the historic underground Pioneer Mine.

The Juried Art Show is a week-long event which provides a venue for local artists to exhibit and sell their artwork. The 9 day event attracts approximately 400 people. Participating artists are eligible for 3 additional cash awards Jurors Choice Award and Best of Show Gala Award determined by the judge and the Peoples Choice Award, which is determined by tallying the visitor votes through-out the week.

The Childrens Art Camp was started in 2001. Children ages 7-12 are welcome to join our talented art instructors for 3 fun-filled days of experiencing a wide variety of mediums. The three days of hands-on projects may include stepping stones, pottery, carving, painting, drawing, and tie-dying.
