Northwoods Partners volunteers and staff spent 8,836 hours serving area seniors and caregivers. Over 500 individuals received one or more of our services during 2019. Northwoods Partners recruited, trained and coordinated 77 volunteers during 2019. Programs included transporation, exercise buddy program, friendly visits, caregiver and respite programs, support groups, memory care programs and advance care planning services. Northwoods Partners continued to offer exercise programs such as Tai Ji Quan, Memories & Movement, Exercise Buddy and group exercise programs that meet weekly to improve balance, reduce falls and increase physical activity in older adults.
