Organizations Filed Purposes:
The General Mills Employee Club is organized and shall be operated for the exclusive purpose of promoting and developing goodwill, fellowship and social and community awareness among active and retired employees, their families and friends, of General Mills, Inc. in the Twin Cities Metropolitan area.
Social Activities - The social activities offered support all of the initiatives of the Employee Club, including community and social awareness, fellowship and goodwill. Approximately 2915 individuals received benefit during this fiscal year.
Athletics Programs - The Club operated approximately 45 athletic leagues/teams. These leagues and events contribute directly to the promotion of goodwill and fellowship at General Mills and within the community. 846 individuals benefited.
Special Interest Clubs - the clubs are designed to promote a particular interest shared by the club members. Each club offers experiences and knowledge to fellow employees who would like to learn more or develop skills in that area. Education, assistance and community are the primary focus of these groups. Approximately 3,217 individuals benefited.
