Organizations Filed Purposes:
We are a Catholic, family, fraternal, service organization dedicated to the values and faith of the Roman Catholic Church through the activities of members and their councils that promote charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism.
The general program expenses relate to member activities including state and national meetings, ceremonies and incentives, newsletters, service projects, support, and planning activities.
Campaign for people with intellectual disabilities: The MN Knights of Columbus conducts an annual fundraiser where candy, often a Tootsie Roll, is offered to the public and free-will dinations are received by the Council. The high visability of this program has lead to the campaign being referred to as the Tootsie Roll Drive. Each local council participating then designates these contributions to the special olympics and other qualified charities, including funding the fall classic special olympics three-day event. This event provides for teams of over 850 athletes and coaches from all over Minnesota to compete in bowling.
Pennies for Seminarians provides funds to support the education of seminarians to the priesthood.
