Organizations Filed Purposes: OUR MISSION IS TO EDUCATE, DISSEMINATE, AND PROCREATE AGRICULTURAL PRACTICES AND KNOWLEDGE IN A SOCIALLY CONDUCIVE MANNER THROUGH 4-H AND ADULT PROGRAMS.

ORGANIZATION FOCUSES ON AGRICULTURAL & OTHER ACTIVITIES OF LOCAL 4-H PROGRAMS AS WELL AS OTHER RELATED PROGRAMS & PROVIDES EDUCATION COOPERATION THAT IS RELATED TO RAISING LIVESTOCK, HORTICULTURE & LAND NEEDS.

THE ORGANIZATION'S GREATEST OPPORTUNITY TO EDUCATE, INTERACT, AND SOCIALIZE WITH THE PUBLIC IS THROUGH THE COUNTY FAIR WHERE 23,278 WERE IN ATTENDANCE. SHOWCASED ARE AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTION INCLUDING CROPS AND LIVESTOCK. FUNCTIONAL HOME AND FARM ITEMS INCLUDING CREATIVE DECORATIVE ITEMS, FOOD AND PRESERVED FOODS ARE ALSO EXHIBITED. EXHIBITORS AND 4-H EXHIBITORS RECEIVE AWARDS AND PREMIUM CHECKS. EDUCATIONAL DEMONSTRATIONS AND FREE ENTERTAINMENT ARE ATTENDED BY BOTH CHILDREN AND ADULTS. KIDS' DAY IS A VERY POPULAR EVENT WITH MANY ATTRACTIONS, AND IS A BIG HIT WITH PRESCHOOLERS AND DAY CARE PROVIDERS. SPECIAL PROGRAMS FOR SENIOR'S DAY ARE WELL ATTENDED. SERVICE ORGANIZATIONS AND OTHER 5013C ORGANIZATIONS RECEIVE GRANT MONEY FOR ASSISTING IN THIS LARGE EVENT.

THE ORGANIZATION SHOWCASES THE AGRICULTURAL AND CREATIVE ACTIVITIES OF THE LOCAL 4-H MEMBERS. A BUILDING IS PROVIDED THAT INCLUDES AN EXHIBIT AREA FOR CREATIVE ACTIVITIES, ARTS, CRAFTS, A STAGE FOR FASHION REVIEW, AND A SNACK BAR. DURING THE FAIR, ELEVEN BUILDINGS AND TWO ARENAS ARE PROVIDED TO THE 4-H PROGRAM TO SHOW THEIR LIVESTOCK EXHIBITS. A TOTAL OF 427 4-H MEMBERS EXHIBITED 4,324 PROJECTS AT THE FAIR THIS YEAR. THE 4-H DOG SHOW AND OTHER PROGRAMS USE THE FAIRGROUNDS DURING THE ENTIRE YEAR.

THE ORGANIZATION CONTINUES TO MAKE THE BUILDINGS AND FAIRGROUNDS AVAILABLE TO THE COMMUNITY AT A REASONABLE COST FOR BOTH COMMUNITY AND FAMILY EVENTS. ACTIVITIES CARRIED ON DURING THE FISCAL YEAR ON THE GROUNDS WERE: MOUNTED SHOOTERS, HORSE SHOWS, ISANTI COUNTY SHERIFF'S SAFETY & RESCUE, K-9 TRAINING, ATV TRAINING, FIBER FAIR, CITY & FIRE DPET. FUNCTIONS INCLUDING 4TH OF JULY FIREWORKS. OTHER ACTIVITIES INCLUDE SNOWMOBILE SAFETY CLINIC, CAMBRIDGE FOOD SHELF DISTRIBUTION, MEDICAL CENTER PICNIC, ALL 4-H CLINICS, 4-H DRILL TEAM PRACTICE, 4-H DOG TRAINING, MN DEER HUNTERS COLLECTION OF "HIDES FOR HABITAT- AND GUN TRAINING. THE FRANKENSTEINERS CAR CLUB HELD A SHOW ON OCTOBER 13, 2018. THE FAIRGROUNDS WAS ALSO USED FOR WEDDING CEREMONIES AND GRADUATION PARTIES. REGULAR MONTHLY MEETING OF THE FAIR BOARD ARE HELD ALONG WITH THE ANNUAL MEETING OF THE ISANTI COUNTY AG SOCIETY TO INFORM MEMBERS AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC OF THE ACCOMPLISHMENTS AND GOALS FOR THE FUTURE.
