Fiscal Intermediary/Employer of Record- MRCI was one of the firstagencies in Minnesota to offer Employer of Record/Fiscal Intermediaryservices as a Fiscal Support Entity. In 2004, MRCI became certified bythe Department of Human Services as a Fiscal Support Entity. In 2010,MRCI received certification following a readiness review for VDHCBSservices. A Fiscal Support Entity is an umbrella agency that offers awide range of Fiscal Employer Agent services including ConsumerDirected Community Supports. In 2018, MRCI was granted an RFP from tehState of MN to continue providing Fiscal Employer Agent servicesthroughout teh state as a Financial Management Service. MRCI alsoprovides PCA Choice and 245d licensed services including personalsupport, respite and homemaker.

Day Training and Habilitation (DT&H) and Waivered Employment Services-- To meet the complex challenges and special needs of people with moderate to severe developmental disabilities. DT&H offers individualized programs and supports to the individuals throughout the day as each person participates in the type of activity that is best suited to his or her needs including center-based work, and non-work recreational and educational programs. Waivered employment services provide supports to individuals seeking to learn more about competitive, integrated employment, find employment, and maintain employment. MRCI provides DT&H and Waivered Employment Services through 10 licensed programs in six locations.

Community Employment - To provide supports through non-licensed programming for individuals in single-site job placements, evaluations, and work crews. A single-site placement provides a job for one individual. Job coaching is provided to assure success. Evaluations are job tryouts to assess work skills and help placement specialists understand the unique skills and strengths of an individual with disabilities. Work crews are a small group of individuals with disabilities working together at business site on a contract basis or a mobile group covering several locations. Both types of work crews are directly supervised by MRCI staff. Work may include manufacturing, assembly, packaging, food service, laundry, retail or janitorial tasks. Clients often do several job tryouts to find a good job match. MRCI provided 943 individuals with community employment services, of this number 368 were employer paid.
