CONTINUING A MULTI-YEAR STRATEGIC PLANNING PROCESS, CBE IS EXPLORING THE INTERSECTION OF RACIAL EQUALITY AND CBE'S MISSION TO DISMANTLE THEOLOGICAL PATRIARCHY. USING A CONSULTANT-LED ENGAGEMENT, CBE IS GROWING AWARENESS, EMPATHY, LEARNING, TRUST, ALLIANCES, COLLABORATION, AND IMPACT AT THE INTERSECTION OF RACE AND GENDER. CBE LEADERS RECEIVED RESOURCES AND EXERCISES TO GROW THEIR INTERCULTURAL COMPETENCE.CBE STRENGTHENED OUR PARTNERSHIPS WITH FULLER THEOLOGICAL SEMINARY (FTS) AND PALM BEACH ATLANTIC UNIVERSITY (PAU) PROVIDING LECTURES, COACHING TO DOCTORAL STUDENTS, LAUNCHING AN ONLINE FORMATION SERIES, AND OTHER JOINT PROJECTS OVER THE NEXT TWO YEARS.CBE HAS RESPONDED TO COVID BY CREATING ONLINE GATHERINGS AND LECTURES FOR PARTNER ENGAGEMENTS AND LEVERAGING TECHNOLOGY AND TOOLS TO CONTINUE (CONTINUED)THIS VITAL WORK REMOTELY.PREPARING WOMEN TO LEAD, CBE AWARDED $6,000 AMMS SCHOLARSHIPS TO THREE FINALISTS IN FY2020. THIS YEAR:-SHE LEARNS IN UGANDA HOSTED AN EVENT AT A GIRL'S SCHOOL WHERE 600 GIRLS LEARNED THEIR VALUE AS WOMEN.-THE COURTSHIP AND MARRIAGE FOUNDATION IN ZIMBABWE HOSTED A "MARRIAGE DYNAMICS" WORKSHOP IN A NEW REGION.-THE INSTITUTE FOR FAITH AND GENDER EMPOWERMENT CONTINUED THEIR MISSION TO SUPPORT CHRISTIAN COMMUNITIES THAT ARE A POSITIVE FORCE TOWARDS ACHIEVING GENDER JUSTICE WITH AN INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE IN RWANDA.CBE HAS TEN CHAPTERS ACROSS THE US AND THREE IN AUSTRALIA THAT PROMOTE THE MISSION OF CBE THROUGH MUTUAL EDUCATION AND BY ENGAGING THEIR LOCAL COMMUNITIES. CBE'S HOUSTON CHAPTER EXPANDED ITS OUTREACH BY DIRECTLY ASSISTING WITH CBE'S 2019 INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE. THE DC CHAPTER PROVIDED REUSABLE PADS TO GIRLS AND WOMEN THROUGH A CBE MOU PARTNER IN UGANDA.CBE'S MAGAZINE, MUTUALITY, WAS RECOGNIZED BY THE EVANGELICAL PRESS ASSOCIATION.
