Language Programs - In fiscal year 2020, Xperitas provided cultural and language immersion experiences for 32 American high school students and teachers in two countries: France and Ecuador. They lived with host families, learned about culture through immersion and improved their world language skills.Note: 1195 travelers enrolled to travel on international language immersion programs in 2020. However, due to SARS-Cov-2, the majority of language programs were cancelled.
Community Partnership Program - In fiscal year 2020, Xperitas sent 2 intergenerational teams of volunteers (participants) to collaborate on community development projects led by indigenous community partners in the United States and Mexico. A total of 23 participants and program leaders were able to take advantage of this offering.Note: 58 travelers enrolled to travel to indigenous community partners in the U.S. and abroad in 2020. However, due to SARS-Cov-2, the majority of programs were cancelled.
Spanish Language Classes - In fiscal year 2020, Xperitas provided Spanish language class to 13 students in one class, using a curriculum that incorporates cultural and social justice themes to promote informed, cross-cultural dialogue surrounding important issues affecting our global community.
