Organizations Filed Purposes: Little Brothers Friend of the Elderly is a national network of nonprofit, volunteer-based organizations committed to relieving isolation and loneliness among older adults. We offer the opportunity to join together in friendship and the celebration of life. Our vision is a community in which all older adults are connected, valued, and loved.

- Visiting and Advocacy, LBFE's core program: 165 older adults who identified as isolated and lonely received visits (pre-pandemic), phone calls, and advocacy on an ongoing basis. - Friendship and Flowers program: volunteers provided monthly visits and deliveries of treats and flowers to 70 nursing home residents who lacked a family connection. Volunteers kept in touch with participants during the pandemic with cards and phone calls. - LBFE hosted 24 social events for isolated elders, before the pandemic. - LBFE pivoted to a phone companion program. Serving our current members experiencing loneliness and isolation, in addition to 94 new people who were not in the program previously. - Services were supported by 1,223 volunteers providing a total 11,447 service hours.
