Organizations Filed Purposes: It is the mission of the Theatre in the Round Players, Inc. to be recognized as a premier community theater which: 1) provides significant entertainment and educational opportunities to its audiences; 2) presents acclaimed theater on an arena stage; 3) promotes a professional attitude among the volunteers, staff, and friends who constitute the "community" that is Theatre in the Round Players, Inc.; 4) provides challenging, engaging, and disciplined opportunities for a vocational artists, technicians, and aspiring professionals; 5) provides an inclusive and participatory environment, with reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities, including audience members, volunteers, and staff (salaried and stipend); 6) promotes an environment that is open, nurturing, appreciative, and inviting to participation of the whole community; and 7) promotes a commitment to the continued existence of live theater.

The mission and dominant program service of Theatre in the Round Players, Inc. (the Theatre) is to produce the highest quality theatre while providing training and experience in theatre crafts. With a database of more than 3,000 actors, there were nine mainstage shows scheduled for the fiscal year that would have involved more than 250 volunteer artists, designers, and technicians supported by 80+ volunteers behind the scenes (box office staff, house managers, committee and board members) in fiscal year 2019-2010. Due to compliance with government mandates to cease operations in response to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Theatre was only able to produce five of the nine scheduled shows during fiscal year 2019-2020.
