The Uptown Association's mission is to create and sustain a healthy business and community environment by providing open communication between stakeholders, promoting economic development without sacrificing our unique culture and serving as a catalyst toward the improvement of the Uptown community.

The Art Fair Community Party held in June is a celebration of the community and both businesses and residents are invited to highlight the talent and support these people provide in order to execute the Uptown Art Fair. Food and beverages are provided by local restaurants.
The Uptown Art Fair Event Program produced by the Association is a communication vehicle that is used to promote local businesses and increase traffic before and during the art fair. It contains an artists directory, map, profiles and schedule of activities.
The Uptown Art Fair, produced by the Uptown Association, is held annually on the first full weekend of August and showcases artists from across the country as well as offers family activities, musical entertainment and food.
