The mission of Hope For Uganda is to bring hope to the people of Northern Uganda through faith formation, quality education, improved health and food sustainability programs.

Hope For Uganda (HFU) provided financial assistance to 32% of the 184 young men attending Sacred Heart Minor Seminary (SHS) in Gulu, Northern Uganda to pay for tuition, room and board fees. HFU also provided financial assistance to 27% of the 523 students attending Archbishop Flynn Secondary School (AFSS) in Pader, Northern Uganda to pay for tuition, room and board fees. In 2019, the HFU board raised the money needed to clear additional land and plant crops on 100 acres of the 262 acres of farm land purchased near AFSS in 2017. The following crops were grown and harvested in 2019: corn, edible beans, and various garden vegetables. HFU has begun investing in equipment to be used on the AFSS farm including a tractor, plow and disc, and purchased two motorcycles for farm staff. Funds were sent to SHS to purchase food for students, renovate the Archbishop's guest room, repair a walkway in high traffic administration area, and re-build tractor engine purchased in 1998. Funds were sent to AFSS to purchase food for students, buy property with existing huts next to the school for teacher housing and helped cover expenses to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of the school's founding.
