IDC's objective is to build strong communities through businesses that will create new job opportunities.IMP also had ten micro-loans for small business located in the IMP. IDC provides 1-1 entrepreneurial training and other supporting program activities throughout the year. We served more than one hundred clients in various capacities. Another way IDC is working toward achieving its goals is through the purchase and renovation of the International Market Plaza (IMP) building. In FYE 2017 there were 23 businesses in the IMP. The purpose of the International Market Plaza is to create a center for business and community made up of different cultures and backgrounds. The more diversified, the better. These entrepreneurs will be given the chance to have a fresh start in the community and see their businesses take off.IDC is also working to bring unity and power to a diversified group of entrepreneurs in the Fargo-Moorhead community. IDC's ultimate goal is to enable its contributors and members to become self-sufficient and equal members of the community.
