Nexus Cares offers foster parents licensing and retention bonuses, home and property damage reimbursements, respite supplemental payments, conference scholarships and mileage reimbursement related to the care of youth. Youth in care benefit from special purchase allotments (for supplies, clothing, and other needs) as well as activities allowances.
Youth Without Resources - Employees of Nexus programs and affiliates have the opportunity to contribute toward youth without resources, a fund within Nexus Diversified Community Services that helps fulfill the needs of youth residing at Nexus-Mille Lacs Family Healing, Nexus-Indian Oaks Family Healing, Nexus-Onarga Family Healing, and Nexus-Woodbourne Family Healing. Such needs include the purchase of clothing, braces, glasses and other needs that cannot be fulfilled by the youth/youth's family or other funding sources.
