WestRidge Senior Housing, Inc. provides housing with services to persons age 55 and older. Services that are provided free of charge include an activities program, a fitness program, transportation to outings, medical appointments and shopping, a daily continental breakfast, staffing 24/7 and chaplaincy. Services that are available at an additional cost include meals, beauty/barber shop, a guest suite and underground heated parking. There are also two laundry rooms on each floor. WestRidge Senior Housing, Inc. entered into an agreement with the City of Minnetonka, Minnesota in 1998, the year it opened, whereby 40% of the total apartment units would be rented to tenants whose income does not exceed 60% of the area median gross income, adjusted for family size, and the rent charged on these units cannot exceed 30% of this amount. The maximum monthly rent currently allowed under this restriction is $975 and $1,175 for one-bedroom and two bedroom apartment units, respectively. Market rate rent for these same units is $1,346 and $1,691. The agreement is in effect through 2027.
