Organizations Filed Purposes: Identify and promote opportunities for corn growers while enhancing quality of life.

Producer Services (PS) Team The PS team has a broad and diverse list of organizations with whom it partners. In addition to promoting and educating people about corn and corn farming and the items necessary to conducting those activities, the PS team supports projects such as venues at the Minnesota State Fair, MN Landscape Arboretum and Minnesota Historical Society Museum. The PS team has and continues to sponsor work conducted by more than 100 community, state, regional and national groups. Matching programs that support the activities of fifty-two county corn organizations are funded through this team. Five district field managers assist our county affiliates and participate in more than 200 events.

Production Stewardship (SP) Team The SP team invests resources between 15 and 25 projects each year in the area of agronomics and genetics, improving nutrient management, cover crops & tillage systems, and water quality. The team continues long term support of a nutrient management position as well as a water quality, nutrient management, agricultural drainage education specialist at the University of Minnesota, Minnesota Agriculture Water Resources Center and Minnesota Discovery Farms. Farmer led innovation grants have produced notable success in discovery and implementation of improved nutrient management and sustainable practices.

Food & Bioenergy (FAB) Team The FAB team supports biofuels and the food industry. Historically, the team has been very involved in the build out of renewable pump infrastructure in Minnesota. The FAB team commissioned a large ethanol education and promotion effort. The team continues to be involved in several national initiatives such as U.S. Grains Council, Ag- Auto-Ethanol Alliance, Crappie Masters ethanol promotion, Green chemistry, ethanol co-product market development and the introduction of Low Carbon Octane Standard (LCOS) for high compression engines is an exciting new endeavor for the team.
