TO PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT SERVICES TO SCHOOL DISTRICTS, SCHOOLS, PRIVATE OR PUBLIC PRESCHOOLS, DAY CARES, ELDER CARE AND OTHER ORGANIZATIONS
The sujmmer Food Service Program provides meals over 17 community centers for children in low-income communities during the summer. This program contributes to the healthy growth and development. Many of the sites also provide educational and enrichment activities to enable the children to learn and stay safe when school is out, mitigating the effects of summer learning loss.
The Child and Adult Care Food Program provides ssnacks, lunch/supper for about 17 after school centers in low-income communities. This ensures that the students have adequate nutrition throughou the day to enable them to learn and participate in other enrichment activities at the the centers. The program reduces food insecurity obesity rates, and poor health
