Catholic Charities is a non-profit organization that advances the charitable and social mission of the Diocese of St. Cloud. We build communities, promote family life, and enhance human dignity by providing quality services to meet the physical, social, emotional, and spiritual needs of individuals and families of all faiths and beliefs.
Catholic Charities of the Diocese of St. Cloud is a nonprofit human services organization serving over 53,493 individuals of all faiths annually through 30 programs across the heart of Minnesota.
Community Services provided support to 29,964 individuals last year with food, clothing and financial assistance. 827 homeless youth or at risk of homelessness received housing and support through our Services for Homeless Youth program. 313,805 meals were served to 5,008 seniors; 12,435 children assisted by 237 Foster Grandparents. 4,183 children, adults and seniors received congregate dining meals across 35 sites; 149,747 were to adults and seniors, and 5,555 were served to a YMCA day camp. 172,118 home-delivered meals were provided to 1,564 adults and seniors and 157 individuals received support through health promotions workshops. Catholic Charities Emergency Services Food Shelf provided 2,166,679 pounds of food which was distributed to 14,446 individuals across 5,420 households in Central Minnesota.
Catholic Charities Behavioral Health helps individuals and families develop and enhance psychiatric stability, social competencies, personal and emotional adjustment, and independent living and community skills. Catholic Charities Behavioral Health Clinic is an outpatient counseling and behavioral health facility operating in St. Cloud and through satellite sites throughout Central Minnesota. 718 people received support through individual, family and marriage counseling, 524 individuals were provided day treatment and support services through Hope Community Support, Young Learners and Day Treatment programs in St. Cloud and Elk River.
Supportive Living Services provides housing solutions for persons living with developmental disabilities and persistent mental illness, as well as financial and housing counseling to help keep individuals and families in their homes. 111 individuals were served through our in-home program, 62 in our residential homes and 844 were served in our financial and Housing counseling program.
