She Rock She Rock is a Minnesota nonprofit dedicated to empowering girls, women, trans & nonbinary folks through the art of music.
In 2019, we served 457 girls, women, trans & non-binary folks through our various programs & events, including Girls Rock n Roll Retreat, Women's Rock n Roll Retreat, Beats By Girlz, Open Mics & Jams & our Teen Youth Board. Our work is a direct attempt to amplify voices that have historically been told to be silent. Our programming provides the tools for all participants to find their voices through fearless artistic expression, composition, collaboration & creativity, regardless of skill level. We provide an inclusive environment that values collaboration & diversity, develops leadership skills, fosters self-confidence & ensures access to music gear & technology. Through our music education programs & events, we believe creative expression evokes social change, challenges gender stereotypes & encourages a climate of support within our community.
